Jared Whittaker

Jared Whitaker was born in South Africa, but now lives in England, with his partner and children. He writes books that focus on serious topics affecting men, such as books on domestic abuse, narcissism, and false allegations. He studied at the University of Manchester, and worked in the corporate world for over 20 years, including being CEO of a global technology business, before deciding to follow his passion of writing. For a hobby, Jared trains and competes in Strongman.


Fergus McQueen

Fergus works for AMIS or Abused Men in Scotland as a Training and Development Officer since October 2023. Much of this work is focused on raising awareness and speaking about victims and the support available for them. He has studied at Glasgow Caledonian University and Stirling University, writing his final dissertation on Male victims of domestic abuse.

ManKind Initiative:   Male Victims of Domestic Abuse

ManKind’s confidential helpline is available for male victims of domestic abuse and domestic violence across the UK as well as their friends, family, work colleagues and employers.

They provide an information and signposting service to men suffering from domestic abuse which can range from physical violence or object throwing to abuse such as constant bullying and insults.

They also supply a directory of local services to support male victims.
