I recorded this podcast in May, and I’d bet that many of you are already thinking about that summer holiday and wondering: “Why didn’t I stick to my New Year’s resolution to lose weight and get fit?”
Haven’t we all done it?
We’ve enjoyed the festive season, a few glasses of wine, Christmas cake – a personal favourite of mine – and perhaps indulged a little more than usual in comforting food. And why not? Life is short.
Then, no sooner has Christmas passed than we’re bombarded with advice about the latest miracle diet, getting fit, joining a gym, or taking weight-loss drugs. All of it feels rather depressing on a cold, grey January morning.
Trust me, I’ve tried just about every diet under the sun and more workouts than I care to remember. But what I’ve learned over the past couple of years has genuinely changed my life, and that’s what I want to share with you today.
So you may wonder – why call this podcast ‘The Reebok Story’?
